You asked, we listened.

This week, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve launched Contract Jobs for candidates and employers.

Since hackajob launched in 2014, we’ve been listening to your feedback and working tirelessly to ensure that your voices are heard. And one of our most requested features? Contract Jobs. In fact, over a third of you have expressed an interest in contract opportunities, reflecting the current global working environment.

An extension of the existing hackajob platform, our new contract offering keeps people at the heart of what we do best. With the current needs of both talent and employers requiring additional flexibility, we wanted to continue our mission of connecting the world’s best companies with exceptional technical talent, regardless of what they’re looking for. Now, both candidates and employers can choose between permanent and contract hiring, depending on what’s best for them.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1:

Create or update your profile in minutes, highlighting your expertise and expectations, such as job type, salary or day rate.

Step 2:

Either add links to past projects (from your GitHub) or solve challenges via our custom IDE; The choice is yours. We’ll use this to identify your strengths by analysing your code.

Step 3:

Sit back and let hackajob do the hard work for you. Our AI will match you with careers or contract roles that fit your skills. From there, companies will apply to YOU (never the other way around), with salary or day rate upfront.

Employers, don’t fret, we’ve got you covered too. Feel free to contact your Account Manager for more information or sign up and we’ll help you set up shop.

From our latest research, we know that choice and flexibility are some of the most important factors when it comes to being happy in the workplace. It’s why we’re on a mission to help people find the perfect roles for them, based on their skillset and nothing more. Available to new and existing candidates and employers, we’re thrilled to offer contract opportunities as part of the overall hackajob package.
